COMMENTS BY READERS:
"I want to thank you for all the work you have done for those recovering from betrayal. Of all the books and podcasts I have found while working through my own recovery, your materials have been the most helpful.
My husband’s therapist recommended your book after D-day. He read it, and then gave it to me to read and asked me to highlight the parts that resonated for me. It made me feel that I wasn’t crazy, and it gave us a place to start."

Spiritual and Psychological Guides for Healing Alone.
Healing Alone is Difficult.
We were designed by God to attach to our mothers at birth and later to a life-partner as adults. When such relationships are torn apart by betrayal, abuse, and abandonment, the trauma and grief we experience is profound and can lead to despair, depression, and post-traumatic stress.
When infidelity is followed by an unwanted marital break-up, the combined stressors create tremendous psychological, emotional, spiritual, and financial injuries.
We need the help of God and safe people to overcome the shame, the harm to our self-esteem, and our distrust in ourselves, the world, and sometimes even God.
After helping many couples repair their marriages in the aftermath of an affair, Linda unexpectedly experienced an infidelity crisis in her own marriage, which changed her husband's heart toward her, forever. She thought her life and career were over. But it was only a new beginning.
Linda has written the book and an accompanying Workbook that she wished she'd had more than two decades ago, to help others pull out of the pit of rejection and find new purpose for her life.
Her upcoming book, THE POST-AFFAIR DIVORCE, covers such pertinent topics such as: Complex Grief, The Shame of Divorce, Post-Traumatic Stress, Missing the Red Flags, Healing from Trauma, Restoring Your Faith, and steps to Rebuild Your Life.
An Accompanying Journal, Bible Study, and Group Discussion Guide
Linda found that both infidelity and unwanted divorce are often experienced in isolation, as our culture doesn't seem to know how to come around hurting spouses who've gone through such double betrayals, including in the Christian community.
She found her greatest solace in three ways:
- God's Word (along with journaling)
- Small Group Support
- Trauma-informed Therapy
That's why she developed the Redeeming the Post-Affair Divorce workbook--a place for people to process their pain, delve into relevant Scriptures, and share their experiences with other wounded and recovering believers. To be available in 2025.
In it she takes you through Biblical lessons and practical exercises on:
- Processing the grief
- Finding comfort from God
- Understanding God's character
- God's healing presence
- Navigating the scriptures on divorce
- Letting go of the angst
- Finding new purpose for your life.
